Today, February 12, is Darwin Day: a day to reflect on the life and work of Charles Darwin, whose theory of evolution through natural selection has provided perhaps the most profound and influential advancement in human knowledge in our history.  And yes – when I say this, I include the invention of the internal combustion engine.
