Autobot climbs Pikes Peak

We’ve been promised self-driving cars since the late ’50s.  Along with the jet packs I’m still waiting for.

In September of last year, the smarty-pants engineers at Audi took a modified sports car to the historic Pikes Peak hill climb course, and set off up the hill to see how fast they could get to the top.  Their time was 27 minutes, well off the record pace of around 10 minutes, but not bad for a car with no driver.
